Texas School Districts Receive Children’s Books About the Principles of Freedom

Fort Bend County, TX – Every day, a battle is being waged on American soil. The soldiers of this battle are seeking to destroy our Nation from within and undo the complex and rich tapestry that is our history. The victims of this war are our children, and in schools across the country they are being exposed to indoctrination that teaches them to hate the values and principles on which America was founded.

Vladimir Lenin, founder of the Russian Communist Party, once said “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” Lenin understood that children are highly impressionable. His educational philosophy is being observed in classrooms across the country and our Nation’s future is at stake. Abraham Lincoln once said, “The philosophy of the classroom in this generation will be the philosophy of politics, government, and life in the next generation.”

In an effort to combat this indoctrination occurring in their schools, Fort Bend County Citizens Defending Freedom (CCDF-Fort Bend), have taken the initiative to counter the radical message that proliferates school curriculum. They sought, and found, a book series that teaches children America’s true history; to learn sound financial habits, entrepreneurship, and how financial markets work; to value a free society and personal freedoms; and teaches all the principles that make America a beacon of hope around the world. The series, The Tuttle Twins, was written by Connor Boyack who made it his mission to “create books and curriculum materials that teach students the values of a free society” and counter the radical messages being pushed onto our impressionable children in their schools.

CCDF-Fort Bend donated a total of 2,055 Tuttle Twins books to three Independent School Districts (ISDs) within their county: Fort Bend ISD, Katy ISD, and Lamar CISD. Katy ISD refused the donations, insisting the books undergo an arduous internal review process. Each elementary school received the Tuttle Twins Combo Pack made for ages 5-11; middle schools received the Guidebooks made for ages 12+; and high schools received the Guidebooks and the Choose Your Consequence books.
