Nassau CDF speaks out in SUPPORT of Mayor NOT reading Transgender Day of Remembrance Proclamation!

2023-11-13
The local LBGTQ group pressured the Fernandina Beach Mayor to read a false narrative 'Transgender Day of Remembrance' Proclamation on November 7th, at the City Commissioners meeting. After initially agreeing to read this proclamation, the Mayor received a lot of push back from the community.  Nassau CDF was part of that pushback!  The day before the meeting the mayor DECLINED to read the proclamation, but did allow another City Commissioner to read this false narrative, political proclamation.  After the Proclamation was read, another city commissioner stated that he did NOT support this document and it's political contents. Great job Nassau CDF and all local patriots! James Bruner, a Nassau CDF volunteer, thanked the Mayor for standing strong.  Click on the link below to see Bruner Speak!   Starting at 2:03 20 City of Fernandina Beach 11/7 City Commission Meeting

#GivingTuesday with CDF and Brave Books!

2023-11-01
CDF’s Be BRAVE Book Campaign
This year for #GivingTuesday, we are excited to announce our partnership with BRAVE Books to provide an alternative to the epidemic of obscene and inappropriate books that are rampant in our nation’s school libraries. We have been fighting incredibly hard to have inappropriate books taken off school library shelves, and we now have an opportunity to give back to those school districts.   Help us reach our goal to receive enough donations by midnight on Giving Tuesday, November 28, to be able to deliver 500 books to school districts in need of wholesome content. Ready to lend a hand?
GIVE NOW!
Children Love These Books! For each donation of $10 or more, we will donate a BRAVE book to a school district in one of our counties!   Notch It Up! Give $50 or more and we will donate a book, PLUS you will be entered to win a custom Stanley tumbler!   Feeling Really Generous? Make your donation of $100 or more to have a book donated, your name entered to win that Stanley, AND get special recognition on our CDF Show and on social media in December, how cool is that?!
So, what is Giving Tuesday?   Giving Tuesday is a global movement, occurring annually on the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving. It serves as a counterbalance to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, redirecting the focus to acts of kindness and charitable giving.   Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to support the causes that matter to you. We hope you will support CDF in our mission to give back to children in the school districts we work so hard to protect, and to continue our work to equip and empower American citizens to stand for and preserve freedom for themselves and future generations.
GIVE NOW!
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds” - Hebrews 10:24
