Polk County Florida House Representative Josie Tomkow (R) has filed a bill (HB 1403) that would eliminate the Hope Scholarship. Attached is the bill in its entirety (all 85 pages). There are many issues throughout this bill including the elimination of the Hope Scholarship. There are also other concerns in the bill that would limit accessibility to other scholarships as well as funds to private schools and home schools through scholarships.
